De kofferbak versteviging is een plug & play modificatie die bedoeld is om te voorkomen dat het metaal rond de kofferbak grendel scheurt of om verdere schade te voorkomen als het metaal al scheuren vertoont.
Dit is een veelvoorkomend probleem op de E36, vooral als er een grotere spoiler gemonteerd is.
De versteviging is gemaakt van 3 mm aluminium met verzonken boutgaten en wordt geleverd met OEM-bouten.
