The trunk reinforcement is a plug & play modification meant to prevent the metal around the trunk latch from cracking or preventing further damage if the latch already has cracks.
This is a common failure point on the E36, especially the ones with a larger wing.
The trunk reinforcement is made of 3mm Aluminium with countersunk bolt holes and comes with OEM bolts.
Also available in satin black powdercoat!
